Community Resources
We are fortunate to live and work in a community with a vast array of resources for families. Here are a few that we’d like to highlight:

Rec. & Camp Resources
Childcare/Daycare Search Resources
County of Ventura’s Childcare Brochure– Comprehensive list of major childcare programs across VC
Child Development Resources (CDR)– Resource & Referral of all licensed childcare providers in the County
Ventura County Childcare Association– Online Referral Database of licensed childcare providers who are VCCA members
Care.com– Parents can pay to access a database of screened caregivers to interview and pay privately, or refer to CISS to screen and hire for their respite needs.
SitterCity.com– Similar to Care.com
Craigslist.org– Free listings of people who need or can provide childcare (proceed cautiously in vetting people)
Childcare Partners
CISS provides childcare at various community events. If you are in need of onsite childcare provided by experienced, screened caregivers for a recurring event, training, or support group, please contact our office for more information and rates.
