Our Respite Staff are paid higher than other agen­cies and get paid mileage!

Par­ents: If you would like help recruit­ing, we have many avail­able, reli­able, car­ing staff — or we can send you some fliers to post around your com­mu­nity to help you recruit some­one for us to hire just for you!

Appli­cants: If you would like to apply to be a Respite Care­giver with CISS, please call our office so we can go over your qual­i­fi­ca­tions and direct you to the cor­rect forms to com­plete. Our recruit­ment needs vary through­out the year and the County. If you have been told that we do not have a cur­rent need, please check back with us in a few months. Com­pleted appli­ca­tions can be brought into the office, mailed, or faxed to us. We offer free CPR and First Aid classes to our employ­ees after they are hired.

Cur­rent Care­giver Resource Guide
This guide is designed to inform and inspire our Respite Care­givers and fam­i­lies with great ideas of local events, activ­i­ties, and crafts they can do while pro­vid­ing respite care. The most cre­ative and ener­getic care­givers plan ahead to ensure that the care they pro­vide meets the needs of the fam­ily and per­son in their care, while hav­ing lots of fun. The guide is pub­lished to this web­site every two weeks, and is also included with employee’s pay­checks. If you have any sug­gested activ­i­ties we can add to future edi­tions, please let us know!
